Post Stan Korrell
Anyone who was with the corps in 82 remembers when we converted the equipment truck into "Big Red". On the side of that truck were the words "Keith and Stan" for our equipment managers Stan Korell and Keith Shaner. My thoughts go out to Patty, Brian, and Mrs. Korell.

To his family he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, mentor, fighter, handyman and anything else they needed him to be. He was always there for his family, always putting their needs ahead of his own. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Grand River Hospital and Dr. Nadia Califaretti, as well as Dr. Langridge of St. Mary's Hospital, and the 6th floor nursing staff, for all their excellent care and support. Friends are invited to share their memories of Stan with his family during memorial visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Stan's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 11 a.m. Immediately following the service, friends are invited to the Fireside Reception Room for refreshments and a time to visit with the family.
